This year, November 11 marks the 97th Anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War (1914-18).
Each year on this day, Australians observe one minute's silence at 11am, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.
At St Oliver's we held a Remembrance Day Liturgy to commemorate this important event.

Last Friday Heeva and Tanvi represented Cumberland Zone at the Diocesan Athletics Carnival. Heeva competed in the Senior Girls Discus event throwing 13.52m, and Tanvi in the Junior Discus throwing 17.56m and 6.92m in Shot Put. Tanvi placed 3rd for shot put and is moving on to the Mackillop Championships to continue her athletics journey. We are all very proud of both girls achievements🥉
