Pastoral Care and Wellbeing

St Oliver’s is proud of its pastoral care of children and their families.

Our programs include:

  • Year 6 buddies who assist Kindergarten students
  • Counselling for students and families
  • Assistance with visas and other matters
  • Supplying uniforms and other clothing to students in need
  • Life skills programs

Student Wellbeing

We believe that our school pastoral care is to be approached through defining, teaching and supporting appropriate behaviours which lead to creating positive school environments. We have a shared, positive and proactive framework to build positive behaviours to support learning. This process is a whole school approach with an emphasis on teaching Positive Behaviour Systems for Learning.

Transition Program

St Oliver’s has transition programs for preschool children and Year 6 students to help them adapt to a new school environment. Students with special needs are also assisted to ensure their learning requirements are met in either Kindergarten or high school.

Come and see learning in action at St Oliver's Primary!

We’d love a chance to show you how learning works for young people in our school. Our dedicated teachers plan the learning in detail to help each child do his or her best.
